Descripción
Help Voices of Variety run a well-documented, trustworthy community service program for people completing approved service hours.
What You'll Do
• Handle participant intake and scheduling
• Assign approved service activities and supervise or coordinate the work
• Document participation and verify completed hours accurately
• Maintain organized records and sign off on legitimately completed community service hours
Who This Is For
Social workers, probation and court services professionals, case managers, HR and operations staff, retired administrators and organized volunteers with strong recordkeeping discipline and sound judgment.
Time Commitment
Ongoing. Flexible weekly hours. Chicago and surrounding communities.
Why It Matters
Community service, done right, is a second chance with structure around it. Done carelessly, it is a signature on a page. We intend to do it right.
About Voices of Variety
Voices of Variety (VOV) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 by Jasen Brown. Our work is prevention. We create positive outlets — sports, music, the skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, adventure and community service — so that violence and crime never get their opening. Every volunteer here is a Builder, a Protector or a Transformer. Bring what you already have.
