Be a Friendly Visitor for a Goodwin Hospice Patient!

Are you a compassionate person who enjoys spending time with older adults? You can be a source of support to a hospice patient/family in the final part of the patient’s life journey. Provide companionship by listening to a patient’s life stories, playing music, or simply sitting quietly with them. You can also sit with a patient so family members can take a break, or assist with running errands. There are options to visit someone at a facility or in their own home in the Northern Virginia area.
Volunteers also have opportunities to assist Goodwin Hospice by making deliveries and phone calls to check in on families. Orientation and ongoing training will be provided. Please join our outstanding hospice team for this rewarding work!
