AI & ChatGPT Agent Development Volunteer

We are seeking a volunteer with experience using artificial intelligence and ChatGPT to help us create a practical AI agent for our nonprofit organization.

The agent will support several organizational activities, including research, finding media and public-relations contacts, organizing information, preparing materials, and completing other repeatable tasks. The exact functions will be developed with our team based on our priorities and the volunteer’s recommendations.

We already use ChatGPT and have the organizational content and information needed for the project. We need someone who understands how to structure instructions, workflows, reference materials, and tools so the agent produces consistent and useful results.

Responsibilities

• Meet with our team to understand how we currently use ChatGPT
• Identify tasks that can be handled or supported by an AI agent
• Create and configure a customized ChatGPT agent
• Develop instructions, prompts, workflows, and reusable templates
• Help the agent research and organize media and PR contacts
• Organize our existing reference materials for use by the agent
• Test the agent using realistic organizational tasks
• Improve its responses based on testing and feedback
• Explain how our team can use, update, and manage the agent
• Recommend additional ways AI could support our organization

Qualifications

• Experience using ChatGPT and other AI tools
• Understanding of custom GPTs, AI agents, prompt design, or AI workflows
• Ability to translate organizational needs into practical AI processes
• Strong research and organizational skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in straightforward language
• Experience with automation or the OpenAI API is helpful
• Experience supporting a nonprofit organization is helpful
