Learn how an organization turns scattered contacts into an organized audience and builds lasting relationships with the people it serves.

This is an unpaid developmental apprenticeship, not a clerical-assistant position. You will work on real projects while receiving hands-on, on-the-job training.

What You May Work On

• Clean, organize, standardize, and segment contact records while removing duplicates.
• Build communication lists for Apple a Day, First Steps, My Part, 100 Books for Life, and general outreach.
• Assist with CRM setup, tagging, follow-up systems, and audience tracking.
• Prepare approved email campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and project communications.

As your skills grow, your responsibility will grow.

You will also receive practical exposure to AI-assisted business tools for research, organization, quality control, project management, and productivity, while learning when human judgment and review are essential.

Who Should Apply

A strong fit may be a business, communications, marketing, information-systems, administrative, or data-oriented student—or someone who enjoys organization, databases, and professional follow-through.

Applicants should be dependable, teachable, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and willing to receive constructive feedback. You are not expected to know everything already—the purpose is to learn through meaningful work.

Supervision & Development

Interns receive orientation, defined assignments, regular supervision, feedback, and periodic check-ins. As skills grow, responsibility can grow. Academic-credit requirements can be coordinated with eligible schools when available.
