March of the Blanketeers gets regular donations of handmade 6-inch squares and needs more volunteers to join them into blankets. Blankets are baby sized; meaning 6x6 squares, conclusing a total inch size of 36x36. We are looking for a group of positive volunteers, of whom posses a strong eye for color, and pattern, who really enjoy whipstitching blanket squares together, and live close to Smithtown, NY for drop-off, and receiving of squares. The perfect volunteer is a non-smoker. who is respectful, who tells us if they are getting overwhelmed or need more work., with effective communication, in American English. Embroidery Floss can is proivded, and volunteer must provide their own yarn needle.
