About Us:
The Alexander Review is an emerging literary publication dedicated to showcasing diverse voices, creative perspectives, and thoughtful discourse.
We are a volunteer-driven, remote team working across different time zones to publish curated issues, support writers, and expand our reach within the literary and creative space.
Role Overview:
This role provides administrative support to help keep things organized and running smoothly. You'll assist with managing inboxes, creating presentations, and handling general admin tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and organize inbox communications.
- Draft and respond to emails as needed.
- Assist with creating and formatting presentations (e.g., slides).
- Help maintain organized documents and files.
- Support general administrative tasks as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Basic experience with email and presentation tools (e.g., Gmail, PowerPoint, Google Slides)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to manage time independently and follow through on tasks
- Reliable and responsive
Additional Details:
This is a volunteer role, requiring approximately 2 hours per week. Fully remote, with a flexible schedule and occasional Zoom/Slack check-ins. A minimum 3-month commitment is preferred. You'll gain hands-on experience with administrative work and day-to-day operations while supporting a growing literary organization. This is a flexible opportunity to build practical skills, stay organized, and contribute in a meaningful way.
