Greenhouse Operation and Early Education Project/Internship

We recently added a greenhouse on site at our Springville location where young preschool student learners will be able to utilize it as an experiential learning tool, and help care for the garden during the school year.

While the greenhouse itself has already been assembled, we need a knowledgeable student or volunteer to help decide on equipment and bed location, assembling, and serve as a consultant to the teachers running the greenhouse. We specifically need knowledge on plant selection and care, environmental parameters, creating schedules and tasks, providing training to staff, and ideas for goals and learning objectives with the children.

The greenhouse is located at 105 S 400 E, Springville, UT 84663. We're fairly flexible with the time. If you would prefer to complete this as a short-term project, it can be finished in about 4 weeks doing 9 hours each week. If you'd prefer more of an internship structure, we can plan 2 months of completing 4-6 hours each week.
