Volunteer on the DAY OF the One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market October

Join the Movement — Volunteer with the One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market 2026 Season

Be part of a growing movement building health, community power, and self-determination in the Black community. The One Africa! One Nation! Farmers Market is calling on dedicated volunteers to help bring this vision to life during our 2026 season in North St. Louis.

    2026 Market Dates (Saturdays | 10 AM – 3 PM):

    October 24th — Halloween Festival

    Our Mission

To ensure access to fresh, healthy food for the Black community, end food apartheid, and build sustainable community commerce by strengthening relationships with Black farmers and vendors — advancing a real path toward African self-reliance and self-determination.

    Why Volunteer?

This is more than a farmers market — it’s a space where culture, health, and economic power come together. From fresh produce and African and Caribbean cuisine to local entrepreneurship and community programming, the market is a living example of what self-determined communities can build.

Powered by the Black Power Blueprint and the African People’s Education and Defense Fund (APEDF), this work directly challenges food apartheid while uplifting Black farmers, vendors, and families.

Volunteers are essential to creating a vibrant, welcoming space where our community can access healthy food, connect, and thrive.

    Perfect for Students

This opportunity is ideal for high school and college students — especially those studying public health, agriculture, social work, community development, or related fields.
