Volunteer | Remote | 5 hours per week
Reports to: Executive Director
Works closely with: Storytelling Director, Graphic Designer, Marketing & Communications team

Why This Role Matters
Creshendo is launching a dedicated Storytelling Instagram focused on human-centered narratives. The work is inspired by long-form storytelling formats like Humans of New York, but grounded in Creshendo’s values around dignity, agency, and ethical representation.
The Social Media Strategist will help shape how stories are presented online, translating interviews and long-form narratives into thoughtful, platform-appropriate content. This role is for someone who cares deeply about how stories are shared, not just how they perform.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop a content strategy for Creshendo’s Storytelling Instagram
- Collaborate with the Storytelling Director and Graphic Designer to plan posts across formats, including text, image, video, audio, and animation
- Advise on pacing, tone, and narrative consistency across posts
- Help ensure stories are shared in a way that is respectful, contextualized, and non-exploitative
- Coordinate lightly with the Marketing and Communications team to stay aligned with brand guidelines
Who This Role Is For
