The Joy of Living

The Joy of Living, Inc. values the time and talents of our volunteers and strives to create a meaningful, flexible, and rewarding volunteer experience. We understand that many skilled volunteers balance careers, family, and other commitments, so we work collaboratively to establish a schedule that fits both the volunteer's availability and our organization's needs.

For graphic design, branding, marketing, communications, and other skilled volunteer projects, we typically ask for a commitment of 5–10 hours per week during active project periods. Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional virtual meetings to discuss project goals, review progress, and provide feedback.

Volunteers will collaborate directly with our Founder/Executive Director and leadership team to create professional materials that strengthen our ability to serve women, girls, children, and families throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, and surrounding communities.

Whether assisting with dashboards, annual reports, fundraising campaigns, social media graphics, presentations, website updates, or marketing materials, every volunteer's contribution helps expand our reach, strengthen community partnerships, and increase resources for those we serve.

We are happy to provide flexibility, clear project expectations, and opportunities for volunteers to build their portfolios while creating meaningful social impact.
