Do you have an hour or two a month? That’s all it takes to bring comfort, companionship, and care to a hospice patient in your community.

At Swan Hospice, we believe that every moment matters. As a volunteer, you can share your time, interests, and talents in ways that are personally fulfilling and deeply appreciated. Whether you're lending a listening ear, playing music, or simply offering your presence, your support can brighten someone’s day-and bring peace to their journey.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Reading aloud, playing music, card games, or creating crafts

• Listening to and recording patient memories for a life journal

• Sitting with patients so family members can take a break

• Certified pet visits (for approved pets and handlers)

• Vigil volunteering during a patient’s final hours

• Providing bereavement and grief support for families

• Veteran-to-veteran visits

Flexible & Supportive:

• Choose assignments that fit your schedule and interests

• Online volunteer training provided for your convenience

• Must be at least 18

• Volunteers must have reliable transportation and agree to a background check and TB testing
