While this role is remote-friendly, we require a minimum of 2–3 hours of crossover with Central Standard Time (CST) between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This ensures we can connect for quick check-ins and keep projects moving.

Are you passionate about literacy, representation, and community?
The EyeSeeMe Foundation is looking for a motivated Summer Operations & Outreach Assistant to help us expand our impact.
Based in St. Louis, the EyeSeeMe Foundation is dedicated to ensuring every child sees their own history and potential reflected in the books they read. This summer, we are scaling our outreach to schools and community partners—and we need your help to keep the momentum going!
Role Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of our team, helping with:
- Community Outreach: Acting as a point of contact for school book fair inquiries and community partnerships. You will help us prepare for the 2027-2028 school year by coordinating outreach to our partners.
- The Grant Research Project: Identifying potential mission-aligned grant opportunities to fuel our growth.
- Digital Storytelling: Helping us create our Instagram posts and Newsletter campaigns. You will be work with us to help us to engage our community.
- Foundation Ops: Managing our shared Todoist board to keep our non-profit goals on track.
- Calendar and Inbox Management: Managing the Foundation inbox and responding in a timely matter. You will also be responsible for creating and managing the Foundation calendar items.
- Event Support (Optional): Local to STL? You’re invited to join us on the front lines at summer book fairs and local book events!

- A clear, professional communicator who can handle emails with grace and enthusiasm.
- Someone who wants to look back on their summer and know they helped put life-changing books into the hands of children.
