Volunteers Needed for the New York Asian Film Festival 2026

Come join a creative team of Asian cinema fans dedicated to exhibition and appreciation of Asian film culture in all its forms. For the 25th edition of the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) taking place from July 10-26 at Film at Lincoln Center, SVA Theatre, IFC Center, Anthology Film Archives, and Korean Cultural Center in New York City, we are looking for festival volunteers!

Volunteers will have the opportunity to attend screenings in exchange for their essential part in making the festival happen.

Volunteer responsibilities

• Greeting and actively interacting with guests at the venue's front desk
• Selling festival merchandise and distributing tickets for special guests
• Handing out and collecting raffle tickets and opinion surveys
• Crowd control and ushering
• Running question cards/microphones for Q & A events
• Answering guest questions about screenings and show times
• Setup and Light cleanup before and after receptions
• A minimum commitment to work three full shifts (approx. 15 hours in total)
