Hospice Office Volunteer Urgently Needed - Sacramento, CA (Near Sacramento State University Campus)

Anchor Health is currently seeking hospice office Volunteers in our Sacramento, California office (near Howe Ave. and Fair Oaks Blvd.)

Office volunteers help pack supply bags that our nurses bring to patients, assemble welcome binders, file, and do other miscellaneous duties that are very easy and extremely helpful to our office staff, our patients, and their families. We are grateful for any help you can provide.

• • Once or twice a week for 1-2 hours
  • Anytime between 9am and 5:00pm
  • Ideally Mondays or Thursdays, but any day can work
  • Ideally long-term

If office volunteering is not a good fit for you, we also have several other volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers can do in-person companionship visits with hospice patients, pet therapy visits (if you have a certified pet therapy animal), and remote volunteering that can be done from your home or office.

How do you get started?

Let us know you're interested and our Volunteer Coordinator will give you a call! You will receive an orientation to hospice concepts as well as training for your administrative and/or patient help, and you will be well-supported and greatly appreciated by patients, their families, and the entire Anchor Health Hospice team.
