Volunteer Animator — Help Bring Survivor Resources to Life

Army Pink is a survivor-led nonprofit working to help survivors of domestic violence escape to safety and begin their path to freedom. Through our Pathway to Freedom program, we provide safe, reliable transportation through Freedom Rides and are developing a Wellness Portal with resources and support for survivors.

About the Role

We are looking for talented Animators to join our creative team and help bring Army Pink’s programs, resources, and survivor-focused tools to life through engaging animation.

Our animators will help create approximately 45-second animated explainer videos that make our programs and resources easy to understand and visually engaging.

Animators will also help animate tools and visual elements being developed for survivors within the Army Pink Wellness Portal.

What You’ll Do

• Create approximately 45-second animated explainer videos
• Animate characters, scenes, and visual storytelling elements
• Bring Army Pink programs and resources to life through animation
• Help animate tools and interactive elements within the Wellness Portal
• Work collaboratively with our creative, marketing, UX/UI, and development teams
• Work from scripts, concepts, storyboards, and existing character designs
• Make revisions based on team feedback
• Help maintain a consistent visual style across our animations

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with 2D animation, character animation, motion graphics, or related areas
• Strong visual storytelling skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good communication and reliability
• Ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Passion for using creative skills to support a meaningful mission

Experience with After Effects, Adobe Animate, Blender, Procreate, or similar tools is a plus.
