Join the Poppin' with PRIDE Crew and help create an unforgettable parade viewing experience while supporting Qmunity during Silicon Valley Pride.
Poppin' with PRIDE is Qmunity's annual parade viewing party fundraiser, bringing together community members, supporters, and PRIDE enthusiasts for a vibrant celebration overlooking the Silicon Valley Pride Parade. Every volunteer helps create a welcoming, affirming, and memorable experience while supporting Qmunity's year-round work serving 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Why Volunteer?

How You'll Help
Volunteers may assist with:
- Welcoming guests and providing hospitality
- Supporting guest check-in and registration
- Assisting with fundraising activities
- Helping maintain a positive guest experience
- Supporting event setup, operations, and teardown
What We're Looking For
We're looking for volunteers who are:
- Friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic
- Comfortable engaging with diverse community members
- Team-oriented and willing to help where needed
- Committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and affirming environment
No previous experience is required. Brief orientation and service training will be provided.
Available Shifts
Choose one or more shifts:
- Sunday, Aug 30 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Sunday, Aug 30 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Sunday, Aug 30 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

¿Cómo llegar?
Find us at Glass House, at the corner of Market Street and Santa Clara Street in Downtown San José. Find directions and transit details.
Check-In: Arrive 15 minutes before your shift and check in at the reception table at the entrance to Poppin' with PRIDE. Event-day instructions will be emailed to registered volunteers before Silicon Valley Pride weekend.
Parking: Enjoy 90 minutes of free parking at 45 N. Market Street. Public transit and rideshare are encouraged. Surface lots and metered street parking are also available.
Street Closures: Market Street will be closed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM between Julian Street and W. San Fernando Street. Cross only at San Carlos Street or south of Plaza de César Chávez. Please allow extra time for arrival.
