Physical Therapy Volunteer Needed - La Mirada

The purpose of this role is to assist the Rehabilitation Services staff with daily tasks including clerical duties, errands, walking patients from waiting area to gym or room, clean equipment, and set up for patient care. Volunteers will also spend much of their time observing therapists working with patients. It is the department preference that this volunteer assignment be open primarily to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in this field. The Rehabilitation staff will provide training of volunteers as it relates to indirect patient care within the department. Rehabilitation Services includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.

Mon-Thurs: 7am-7pm

Friday: 7am-6pm
