The Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to provide administrative and data support to our team. This is a primarily hybrid opportunity that offers valuable experience in healthcare administration, data management, and insurance verification processes.
Location: Hybrid (remote and in-person, location is in Reston)
Time Commitment: Minimum of 16 hours per week
Position Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage through various insurance portals and systems.
- Enter, review, and maintain data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and manage information.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Participate in in-person activities or projects when business needs require additional onsite support.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets and data efficiently.
- Experience using insurance portals to verify insurance coverage.
- Experience working with data entry, data management, or data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a hybrid environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
