It is regulated under the newly launched scheme the Guest Uttarakhand Home Stay Scheme (2015) Registration No-02 / Home Stay, Dated-16-12-2015 by the District Tourism Development Officer Bageshwar (Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board) in the village of Sunargawn of Kanda, District- Bageshwar, State- Uttarakhand, India.

We are a host since 1988 and Hosted 32 countries international students, volunteers, social activists, Eco and budget tourists.

We are a Home stay host in the beautiful valley of Kanda, Uttrakhand.

help to our community who run micro projects through our volunteers’ funds ,Knowledge, and skills. We would like to reach out to them .

You are welcome to stay in Rose Home Stay.. We host volunteers as a tourist according the Government rule.

R.H.S. not only provides the village with a much needed additional source of income but provides visitors with a chance to interact with the community gaining an insight into their way of life one that you will never experience while staying in hotel or backpackers hostel.

They say the heart of India lies in her villages during your stay with us I am sure you will fall in love with her.

During your time at the guest house you can become involved in local farming activities, festivals and hopefully help with fundraising activities.Alternatively visitors who just want to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world can relaxing read books, walk the main trails of the village while enjoying the beauty that surrounds us.

Those guest who are interested in volunteering we allow you to draw on your own knowledge and skills and with our help create a programme that you feel most passionate about. Knowledge & Cultural Tourism, Wellness Tourism ,Development Education, Eco-Village Rural Tourism and others.

/learning/ spiritual enlightenment/rural lifestyle /rural livelihood / Bird watching and others.

1. Rural development support –Construction/ Renovation of houses and toilets for poor local families maintaining of

path and roads, Water management, Local livelihood practice, Schools need and others.

1. 10 Installing renewable energy sources as Solar street lamps and lights in poor village’s homes. Teaching
2. English in the local school while also learning the Hindi language.Shearing ideas and knowledge / skills / technology / craft / play / sports / creative demonstration etc.
3. Research and study on Rural responsible and sustainable

tourism / Rural life/ livelihood/ Environment .

Each volunteer needs to contribute for 2 weeks – US $.370/- for the community Social help project 50% and 50% for host family ,home stay lodging and boarding all food is provided on donation .

ALL THE 50% MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE COMMUNITY NOT FOR ADMINISTRATION
