Volunteer at Historical Tea Party!

The Historic Fruitland Grange in Puyallup is hosting an Afternoon Tea Party on Sunday, July 19th and needs LOTS of volunteer help!

This event is a fundraiser for the Fruitland Grange and is being held in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States.

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities, including:

Set up (noon - 3:00pm) Will be setting up tables, chairs, place settings, etc. Will be on 2nd floor. Only access is via stairs.

Greeters (2:30pm - 4:00pm. Will greet guests, check seating chart, escort to tables, etc. Will be options for ground floor and 2nd floor jobs

Kitchen (noon - 5:00pm) Will help with food preparation, dishes, etc Will be on ground floor

Food runner (2:30pm - 5:00pm) Will need to be able to walk up and down stairs multiple times; dress code black pants/skirt and white top

Table server (2:30pm - 5:00pm) Will be assigned to 2-3 tables; will bring out food, refill drinks, etc Dress code is black pants/skirt and white top OR historically appropriate clothing

Drink runner (2:30pm - 5:00pm) Will refill carafes, tea pots for servers to take to tables

"Gift Shop" attendant (2:30pm - 5:30pm) Will monitor tables with items for sale; tell people how to pay, take cash, give change. Will be on 2nd floor; access only via stairs. Dress code is black pants/skirt and white top OR historically appropriate clothing

Clean up (5:00pm - 6:00pm) Will take down tables, chairs, linens, etc. Will be on 2nd floor only accessible by stairs
