VOLUNTEER FOR THE FULL LIFE!

Volunteer Opportunities at Empath Health include:

• Provide companionship, run errands or deliver supplies
• Make phone calls to patients, families or those who have experienced a death
• Provide companionship and honor fellow military brothers and sisters
• Provide massage, music, pet visits or Reiki
• Sit vigil or act as an end-of- life doula
• Answer phones, enter data into the computer, and welcome guests at our service center
• Provide support to patient and families as well as staff at our in patient unit at St. Joseph's Hospital
• Assist with daily activities at the Empath Life Adult Day Center

***Empath Health Does Not Offer Volunteer Hours for Court Ordered Community Service***

Volunteer Orientation is a 3 hour training session for individuals interested in learning more about Empath Health's Volunteer opportunities.

Patient and Family Support Training consists of 6 hours of training for individuals interested in providing caring support to Suncoast Hospice Hillsborough patients and families. Empath Health Volunteer Orientation is a prerequisite.
