Volunteer Training & Development Coordinator

Overview:

Ensures volunteers have the knowledge and tools to succeed in their roles.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the onboarding process with human resources for new volunteers ensuring learning and development is presented early on
• Organize skill-building workshops (e.g., leadership, customer service, youth mentoring).
• Create simple training guides or resources.
• Support ongoing mentorship for long-term volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Patient and encouraging teacher/mentor.
• Good at simplifying information into clear steps.
• Interest in professional development.

Commitment: 5+ hrs/week.
