We welcome volunteers with a genuine interest in helping others and a willingness to learn. You do not need formal training in art or disability studies—just an open mind and strong communication skills. Volunteers should:
- Be able to write clearly and thoughtfully, expressing ideas in a positive, uplifting way
- Have an interest in art, creativity, education, or community service
- Be respectful and compassionate when discussing children with disabilities
- Be reliable and able to meet short deadlines
- Be comfortable doing light research (e.g., reading short articles about art therapy or inclusive arts programs)
- Be open to guidance and feedback to help shape the final blurb
- Maintain sensitivity and privacy when talking about disability-related topics
These qualifications ensure that each blurb reflects kindness, accuracy, and the mission of promoting art as a meaningful tool for connection and expression.
