    Description

Kits 4 Kids x Disability Acceptance Day Write-up

We welcome volunteers with a genuine interest in helping others and a willingness to learn. You do not need formal training in art or disability studies—just an open mind and strong communication skills. Volunteers should:

    • Be able to write clearly and thoughtfully, expressing ideas in a positive, uplifting way
    • Have an interest in art, creativity, education, or community service
    • Be respectful and compassionate when discussing children with disabilities
    • Be reliable and able to meet short deadlines
    • Be comfortable doing light research (e.g., reading short articles about art therapy or inclusive arts programs)
    • Be open to guidance and feedback to help shape the final blurb
    • Maintain sensitivity and privacy when talking about disability-related topics

These qualifications ensure that each blurb reflects kindness, accuracy, and the mission of promoting art as a meaningful tool for connection and expression.
