Event Volunteers Needed - 2nd Annual Steps For a Cure 5K in Honor of James DiGiovanna

Join us in honoring the life and legacy of James DiGiovanna at the second annual Steps For a Cure 5K, benefiting Project Purple and supporting early detection and research for pancreatic cancer.

We are seeking up to 20 volunteers to assist on race day in various key roles to help the event run smoothly and safely. This 5K race takes place at beautiful Heckscher State Park in Long Island and commemorates James DiGiovanna-a beloved local leader, Ironman, and community hero-who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2024.

This event raises awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research and early detection. Help us make this day special!
