Conference Volunteer Photographer

We are looking for a volunteer photographer to capture the events during our 2026 HAP Conference which will take place October 1-3, 2026 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention Center.

The photographer would be on site at the event to take photos (and videos if possible) of event attendees, speakers, and exhibitors during registration, educational sessions, social and networking events.

The general conference schedule each day is as follows:

• Thursday 10/1: 8:30am to 8pm
• Friday 10/2: 7:30am to 7pm
• Saturday 10/3: 8am to 10pm, Dinner and Dance from 6pm to 10pm

We are open to multiple volunteers covering one day of the conference or even a half day. You do not need to commit to volunteering for the entire duration of the conference.

Highschool and college students with an interest in photography and some experience are welcome.

Trauma Recovery, EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs (Trauma Recovery/HAP) is a nonprofit organization and our mission is to increase the capacity for effective treatment of psychological trauma in under-served communities anywhere in the world. The HAP Conference is designed to facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and personal connections for EMDR therapists. Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with presenters, exhibitors, and like-minded professionals. This interactive environment fosters valuable discussions, idea exchange, and the cultivation of enduring professional relationships to propel your career forward and shape the future of EMDR collectively.
