Assist Logistics Manager with running team. Sometimes two events happen at the same time so you'll need to split up to cover each. There is a lounge at AMC which runs all day, and then several events offsite as well. This team is somewhat physical as you assist with setup, handling event maintenance while event is running, as well as striking event. Wagons are used to move items around, but for instance tables and chairs are often needed to be setup, bar stocked, etc.

Most events happen at AMC UTC in La Jolla. There’s a storage unit in La Jolla as well as distribution of items are typically between the two locations.

I filled out a volunteer application and check off event logistics as well as team lead. Ideally, you can assist at one of the two remaining monthly events to get a taste of how this will look during fest week in mid October.
