Descripción
- Powered By Love, an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking a local Logistics & Site Chair to act as the "architect of the physical sanctuary" for The 831 Experience, a high-impact community restoration event on October 16th–17th, 2026. This position operates as a volunteer leadership role with a project-based stipend of $4,000 that is strictly contingent upon successful event revenue generation. Operating as the local proxy for our remote Project Manager , you will oversee the complete physical transformation and technical compliance of the First Church UCC campus in Phoenix. This role runs on an intensive 4.5-month operational sprint starting June 15th, 2026, across three distinct phases: Phase 1 requires 3–5 hrs/wk; Phase 2 requires 8–10 hrs/wk; and Phase 3 scales to 20–25 hrs/wk during the October event dates. Expectations include creating to-scale site maps identifying fire exits and trailer lanes , managing portal filings for City of Phoenix permits (SHAPE PHX) , conducting video walkthroughs , and supervising vendor arrivals. Additionally, you will recruit and manage a sub-committee of 3–4 specialized volunteers that will assist you throughout the process. Qualifications include 2+ years in event logistics, construction coordination, or municipal permitting, strong spatial planning skills, and a dedication to high-dignity care.
