Hello! The Center for Healing and Wholeness is currently working on a Fidget Blanket Project where we would come together to make fidget blankets to gift them to caregivers, caring for someone with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
We are looking for volunteers for the following:
- Arranging the materials into a bag so that our sewing volunteers can pick up a bag with all material to sew the blanket at home. Commitment: Coming into the Center for 1-2 hours. We will have 2 different dates/times available. The Center will have refreshments on site during this volunteer opportunity.
- Sewing the fidget blankets. Commitment: Volunteers would pick up the fidget blanket material bag and sew at home to bring back to the Center.
- OR if you have material you think would fit well with a fidget blanket, we are accepting donations.
