Description

Hello! The Center for Healing and Wholeness is currently working on a Fidget Blanket Project where we would come together to make fidget blankets to gift them to caregivers, caring for someone with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s/Dementia.

We are looking for volunteers for the following:

1. Arranging the materials into a bag so that our sewing volunteers can pick up a bag with all material to sew the blanket at home. Commitment: Coming into the Center for 1-2 hours. We will have 2 different dates/times available. The Center will have refreshments on site during this volunteer opportunity.
2. Sewing the fidget blankets. Commitment: Volunteers would pick up the fidget blanket material bag and sew at home to bring back to the Center.
3. OR if you have material you think would fit well with a fidget blanket, we are accepting donations.
