AdventHealth Hospice is seeking compassionate facility volunteers to visit patients in nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other care facilities. Your presence can bring peace, joy, and connection to patients who may feel isolated or in need of companionship.

What Facility Volunteers Do

• Visit patients for friendly conversation and companionship
• Read, play music, share stories, or simply sit quietly with them
• Offer comfort and emotional support during meaningful moments
• Provide caregiver relief and help staff by being a warm, steady presence
• No medical tasks required

Training & Support Provided

All volunteers receive comprehensive training, ongoing support, and guidance to feel confident and prepared in their role.
