Virtual Engagement Lead

Respect MO Voters is seeking someone to handle engaging with volunteers online to help them stay informed and connected. This is a lead position, and able to be expended upon as we scale up and delegate other duties.

The Virtual Engagement Coordinator helps create a welcoming, connected, and engaging experience for volunteers in our online spaces. This role supports volunteer communication, fosters community, promotes positive culture, and helps volunteers stay informed, connected, and involved in the organization's work.

• Volunteer Connection
• Community and Culture
• Communication and Engagement

Responsibilities

• Host and coordinate the monthly all-volunteer calls
  • Work with Field, Comms, and VolEx teams to craft each agenda
• Moderate campaign Slack and Facebook channels and pages in accordance with our guidelines and Excellence Pledge
  • Coordinate with Comms as needed to help answer questions as needed.
  • Attend Department and Program Meetings
  • Accurately convey meaningful information in a timely, regular, manner
  • Monitor overall effectiveness of virtual engagements, and assess potential areas for improvement
  • Correctly delegate tasks to the necessary people
  • Upkeep, and participate in, this group’s channel on Slack
