Location: North of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin (Polk/Burnett County Area)
Volunteers Needed: Ongoing Opportunity
Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity is seeking physically capable, semi-skilled volunteers to assist with exterior improvements on a Habitat-owned property. This project is part of our ongoing efforts to preserve and improve housing opportunities in northwest Wisconsin.
Scope of Work:
- Paint exterior trim and finishes
- Remove existing siding materials
- Install house wrap/weather barrier
- Assist with vinyl siding installation
- General construction site setup and cleanup
Skill Level: Moderate
Volunteers should be comfortable using basic hand and power tools and working alongside Habitat construction staff and experienced volunteers. Previous construction, remodeling, carpentry, or home improvement experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and work at moderate heights
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
