In-person Volunteer Tutor (Helping elementary students with learning challenges)

Tutoring is important because each student learns a different way. It’s fun because it gives you a chance to work with youth and gain experience. Seeing the look on a student’s face when they can correctly answer their homework problem due to your help is truly priceless!
Help our PAL Kids complete their homework assignments, and use tools to improve their core math and language arts skills. Join us and have a huge impact on a child’s future. Hollywood PAL is dedicated to helping low income youth in the Hollywood Community.
We are looking for volunteers who has had past experience with teaching and learning methods who can help students who struggle with disabilities such as dyslexia, ADHD, and, autism.
Hollywood PAL is willing to sign off on any community service hours and volunteer hours.
When: Tutoring Hours are flexible: Mondays to Thursdays from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm (PST)
On-Site Location: Hollywood PAL, 5824 Santa Monica Blvd
