Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Empowered Futures’ web applications across the full stack (frontend and backend)
- Build responsive, modular, and reusable UI components using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic using Node.js, GraphQL and Prisma ORM
- Collaborate with other developers and participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the stack
- Attend weekly meetings every Monday at 4:00pm MDT
Qualifications
- Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ES6, and React.js (frontend)
- Proficiency in Node.js, and ORMs (backend)
- Experience with TypeScript and/or GraphQL is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Willingness to continuously learn, improve, and contribute to an agile team culture
