    Organization: Paws and Pumpkins Rescue

    Location: Monmouth, OR

    Commitment: 5-10 hours/week | Minimum 3-month commitment

    Reports To: Executive Director

    Paws and Pumpkins Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray/feral cats in Polk County, OR. As a volunteer-driven organization, we rely on passionate individuals to help us grow our impact-and we’re currently seeking a volunteer Financial/Development Assistant Manager to support our fundraising, budgeting, and donor stewardship efforts. We are currently fundraising to buy our own property so the minimum commitment is 3 months to ensure we can meet this goal in time.

    • Planning and scheduling fundraising events with the approval of the Executive Director
    • Aid in the management of all fundraising activities including but not limited to the planning, execution and record keeping stages of any fundraising events
    • Track and record donations and expenses using Google Sheets, QuickBooks, or similar tools
    • Help manage donor database and send thank-you letters/receipts
    • Assist in writing or compiling materials for grants, fundraising campaigns, or sponsorship outreach
    • Support budget development for events, campaigns, and general operations
    • Run reports for board meetings and internal planning
    • Research new funding sources and help draft proposals

    Private Group Details:

    • Group Size Range: 1 - 5
    • Event can be held at a volunteer group location (e.g. office, park)
