Grant Research & Grant Writing Volunteer

From Convict to Corporate Inc. is seeking a motivated volunteer to support our nonprofit funding efforts through grant research, prospect identification, and grant-writing assistance. Our organization serves formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals through reentry support, workforce readiness, entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, mentoring, life-skills development, and resource navigation.

The volunteer will help identify relevant foundation, corporate, government, and community grant opportunities; maintain a grant prospect list and calendar; assist with drafting grant narratives, letters of inquiry, and supporting materials; organize deadlines and application requirements; and help strengthen our overall funding pipeline.

Ideal candidates may have experience or interest in grant writing, nonprofit development, research, communications, public administration, social work, business, or related fields. Strong writing, organization, attention to detail, and reliability are important. Students, recent graduates, retired professionals, and experienced grant writers are welcome to apply.

This opportunity may be completed remotely, with occasional virtual meetings with organizational leadership. Volunteers will gain hands-on nonprofit development experience while supporting second-chance opportunities and community reintegration.
