    Data and Feedback Analyst

    Data & Feedback Analyst (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer)

    Join Empowered Futures as a Data & Feedback Analyst and help shape the future for emerging adults as they transition into adulthood. We are a forward-thinking nonprofit committed to building confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful young adults through self-empowerment, mentorship, and community support.

    Empowered Futures is seeking a forward-thinking and tech-oriented Data & Feedback Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from multiple feedback channels to drive strategic decision-making and ensure information is communicated to internal teams to enhance product, service, and operational performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data & Feedback Collection

    • Gather and manage structured and unstructured feedback from surveys, interviews, support tickets, CRM systems, social platforms, and internal tools.
    • Design and optimize surveys, forms, and other data-gathering mechanisms.
    • Maintain data integrity and ensure consistent collection workflows.
    • Analysis & Insight Generation
    • Clean, organize, and analyze datasets using statistical and analytical tools.
    • Identify trends, correlations, and sentiment patterns across customer or user feedback.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis to uncover systemic issues and opportunities.
    • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

    Collaboration & Reporting

    • Partner with Product, Operations, Customer Experience, and Strategy teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
    • Present findings through regular business reviews and ad-hoc deep-dive analyses.
    • Prioritize feedback themes and support the development of improvement roadmaps.

    Process Improvement

    • Continuously refine feedback collection processes and analytics methodologies.
    • Evaluate and implement tools that enhance data analysis, automation, and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Psychology, or related field.
    • 2–4+ years of experience in data analysis, user research, customer insights, or similar functions.
    • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, Python/R, or BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
    • Strong ability to interpret both numerical and qualitative data.
    • Experience with survey tools (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Typeform) is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into compelling stories.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with feedback management platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Medallia, Jira).
    • Background in customer experience, product analytics, or operations.
    • Familiarity with text analytics, sentiment analysis, or natural language processing.
    • Knowledge of experimentation methodology (A/B testing, controlled trials).

    This is a part-time, remote, and unpaid volunteer position (7-10 hours per week).
