Appreciation Coordinator

Respect MO Voters is seeking someone to help us to make sure volunteers are recognized for their hard work and feel appreciated.

The Appreciation Coordinator helps make sure the people who power this movement know they are valued. From celebrating milestones to recognizing exceptional volunteers, this role helps create a culture of gratitude across the organization. You'll work with several departments to make sure volunteers, partners, supporters, and benefactors feel seen and appreciated for the time, energy, and heart they bring to our work.

Skills Needed

• Basic computer operation, and spreadsheet skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate, coordinate, and delegate tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Attend Program meetings
• Coordinate volunteer recognition and appreciation efforts across the organization.
• Find meaningful ways to mark milestone achievements
  • Work with other departments to ensure appreciation efforts support the organization's culture and mission.
• Highlighting volunteer their accomplishments in the weekly newsletter
• Nominating exceptional personnel for acknowledgement by our CoFounders
• Send gratitude, or condolence, letters as appropriate to volunteers and others in our network.
• Attend program meetings and collaborate with the Appreciation team.
• Coordinate with Program Lead
• Coordinate with Appreciation Artist as needed
• Work with Logistics Departments for delivering larger tokens, or tokens en mass, as needed
• Work with Finance Department for Appreciation budget
