Purpose:
Support Tigerlily’s SPARK Clinical Trials initiatives by increasing awareness, accessibility, and culturally competent understanding of clinical trial participation among underserved communities. This role bridges research education with community trust-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with development of plain-language clinical trial education materials
- Support clinical trial database updates and opportunity tracking
- Assist with survivor/patient inquiry routing and follow-up coordination
- Support data tracking related to clinical trial engagement metrics
- Collaborate with Health Literacy and Research COEs on aligned initiatives
Ideal Skills / Background:
- Public health, biology, nursing, psychology, or pre-medical students
- Interest in oncology, patient navigation, or research equity
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to translate complex medical information into accessible language
- Comfort working with sensitive health information in a respectful, confidential manner
