A Friendly visit for patients-VITAS Healthcare- Cedar Hill, MO 63016

VITAS Healthcare is looking for Patient Care Volunteers to visit patients on hospice residing in assisted living, nursing homes and/or their own homes located in Cedar Hill, MO 63016.

Volunteers are critically important for visiting patients at the end of life that do not have family or friends that regularly visit. Patient Care Volunteer offer companionship, play music and games, read to patients and help in other meaningful ways.

Volunteers visit VITAS patients to provide specific, non- medical care through socialization and friendly visits. VITAS Healthcare provides comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering on communication skills, family dynamics and how to make a positive difference for patients and their caregivers. The days and times for volunteering are flexible according to your availability. Any time you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated.
