Compassus Hospice in Macon is a FOUR STAR We Honor Veterans hospice provider.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
That Compassus Hospice is a provider of the highest level to care for and honor those who have served in the military when they reach the end of life.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Compassus needs volunteers who are also veterans or active military to support other veterans as they reach the end of life. Support is given through companionship and small ceremonies (in the home) to honor veterans for their service.
Comprehensive training is provided for all Compassus volunteers and specific training is given for volunteers who serve veterans.
Honoring our veterans is a vital part of our care and your service to them will be met with more gratitude than you can imagine.
