Volunteer DESCRIPTION - Regional Board Member, Western Massachusetts-

The regional board of directors is made up of individuals who are willing to volunteer their time and skills to support the mission of Easterseals Massachusetts. ESMA provides exceptional programs and services to ensure that children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play.

Responsibilities Include:

• Understand the organization’s mission, services, policies, and programs, and inform others about ESMA.
• Help to enhance Easterseals public profile and network within the western MA communities and the business areas.
• Attend & participate at regional board meetings via Microsoft Teams on the second Monday of the month, from 6:30PM-7:30PM. .
• Support the organization financially either through donations and/or through helping with fundraising activities.
• Create/implement one professional networking event in the Western Massachusetts area.
• Serve on at least one subcommittee and attend meetings.
• Aide in making connections between the organization and your personal network to promote and grow ESMA's services in western Massachusetts.
• Actively recruit new board members.

• Willing to invest time for meeting schedules
• Interested in the priorities and mission of the organization
• Solutions-oriented
• Well-connected to area businesses or willing to "cold call" businesses to achieve marketing and event sponsorship goals
• Willing and able to commit to a two-year board term
