At Providence Hospice, we are seeking volunteers who feel called to sit with patients and offer Bible reading, prayer, or gentle spiritual conversation during their final days.
This is not about preaching.
It’s about presence.
Meeting someone where they are… and bringing peace into the room.
AS A VOLUNTEER, YOU CAN:
• Read scripture or devotionals
• Pray with patients (when requested)
• Sit quietly and offer spiritual companionship
• Bring comfort through faith and presence
YOU WILL BE SUPPORTED:
• Guided by a full-time Volunteer Coordinator
• Trained and prepared before visits
• Supported by our chaplain and hospice team
• Given opportunities to shadow before visiting independently
THIS IS SACRED WORK.
Simple moments.
Eternal impact.
