​The Lily Foundation for Patient Advocacy and Empowerment was born out of a profound commitment to systemic change. As a newly established 501(c)(3) organization, our mission is to stand beside patients, ensuring their voices are heard, their dignity is preserved, and their care is maximized. We believe that healthcare should be just, transparent, and patient-centered.

​Now, we are looking for a dedicated operational leader to help us turn this grand blueprint into a daily reality. Because we are an early-stage startup, this is currently a non-paid, volunteer position designed for a purpose-driven professional who wants to build an organization’s operational DNA from the ground up and establish a lasting legacy.

​The Opportunity & Commitment

​We are seeking an Operations Director who is equal parts passionate idealist and execution strategist. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our high-level vision and ground-level execution, working closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to transition The Lily Foundation from an inspired startup into a high-impact, sustainable movement.

​Commitment Details: Low Bandwidth, High Impact

We recognize that elite operational talent often comes with a demanding professional and personal life. This role is intentionally structured to fit into a busy schedule:

​Baseline Commitment: A minimum of 3 hours a week or less for standard, day-to-day strategic management and system maintenance.

​Project-Based Ramps: Workload may occasionally increase for special events, launches, or key projects. However, advance notice will always be provided so you can plan accordingly.

​Flexible & Remote: The work is entirely remote and asynchronous, allowing you to contribute whenever it best fits your calendar.

​This is not a passive advisory role, nor is it a grueling full-time demand. It is an invitation to leverage your existing professional expertise to efficiently build the operational workflows, logistics, and internal infrastructure of an organization meant to reshape patient advocacy.

​Key Responsibilities

​Translate Vision into Action: Take our foundational bylaws, strategic roadmaps, and community initiatives and shape them into efficient, measurable daily operations.

​Build the Infrastructure: Establish compliance, volunteer networks, technology integrations, and internal workflows to support a modern, agile non-profit ecosystem.

​Champion Fiscal Stewardship: Work closely with leadership to manage initial budget allocation and optimize resource utilization, ensuring every resource directly fuels patient impact.

​Manage Logistics Efficiently: Oversee the foundation's core internal functions, streamlining processes so the organization can run smoothly in minimal weekly hours.

​Scale the Organization: Design scalable systems that will allow our advocacy programs to grow smoothly without creating administrative bottlenecks.
