Job Summary:

The Capacity Building and Training Officer (Volunteer) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating capacity-building programs for GASDI's staff, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training needs assessments to identify capacity gaps among staff, partners, and stakeholders.
• Design and develop training programs, manuals, and materials.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops, and conferences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure integration of capacity-building initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, organizational development, social sciences).
• At least 3 years of experience in training and capacity development.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Important Note:

This is a volunteer position, and as such, it is unpaid. However, GASDI will provide a recommendation and certification upon successful completion of the volunteer term, contingent on achieving fruitful results and demonstrating a commitment to our mission.
