Board Member (Volunteer)

We are a non-profit organization headquartered in North Carolina, committed to inspiring and educating young minds in STEM through the use of innovative products and workshops.

We are seeking multiple volunteer members for our nonprofit. As a member, you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping our impact on STEM education. This is a flexible commitment (1-2 hours/week, no monthly meeting cadence) designed for passionate individuals who want to give back in a way that fits their strengths and availability.

We especially welcome candidates who have strong ties to K-12 schools, educational institutions, or community-based STEM programs, as their connections will be invaluable in helping us expand our reach and deepen our impact across diverse learning communities.

Members can choose to contribute in one or more of the following areas:

1. Manage Specific Initiatives: Take ownership of one of our educational programs or special projects - such as podcast series, web app deployment & adoption etc. You’ll help guide the vision, set short-term goals, and ensure smooth execution in collaboration with our team.
2. Strategize & Secure Partnerships: Help expand our network by identifying and nurturing partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and educational organizations. Your insight will shape meaningful collaborations that amplify our reach and impact.
3. Strategize & Manage Marketing: Support our outreach by developing content ideas, social media strategies, or marketing campaigns. You can guide messaging for key initiatives and help us inspire more families, educators, and supporters.
4. Strategize & Secure Grants/Corporate Sponsors: If you have experience or interest in grants & Corporate sponsorships, you can assist in identifying grant opportunities, preparing applications, and building relationships with potential sponsors.

This role is perfect for professionals, educators, or community leaders looking to lend their expertise to a nonprofit in a low-time, high-impact way.

Preferred duration for this role: Minimum of 1 year

Time Commitment:

Approximately 1-2 hours per week (flexible scheduling, no monthly meeting cadence). 100% remote.
