Volunteers are needed to assist us with multiple projects at our Fort Worth office:
- Assemble hygiene and literacy kits
- Create bookmarks for literacy kits
- Review and sort cards of encouragement received from the community
- Sort early learning reading books for literacy kits
- Write cards of encouragement for hygiene and literacy kits
All materials will be provided, and this opportunity is open to children of all ages with a parent or guardian.
Although we will not be able to provide a meal, volunteers are welcome to bring a snack and drink for their shift.
Date: Thursday, October 15
Time: 11am to 1pm
Location: United Way of Tarrant County, 201 N. Rupert St., Suite 201, Fort Worth, TX 76107
Volunteers Needed: 20
Other: Children of all ages are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian.
Parking: Parking is available in the front and along the side of our agency. Street parking is also available. We are a handicapped accessible building with disabled parking and a ramp located at our main entrance.
