Do you have a few hours to spare and a heart full of love for animals? Seagoville Animal Shelter needs YOU! Our furry friends are waiting for their forever homes, and they need companionship, exercise, and love while they wait.
How you can help:
🐕 Walk dogs & play in the yard
🐈 Socialize cats & provide enrichment
📸 Take photos of adoptable pets
🚗 Transport animals to vet appointments and off-site adoption events
No experience? No problem! We provide training. Bring your patience, compassion, and energy!

Dear Animal Lovers,
At Seagoville Animal Shelter, our mission is to provide a safe haven for animals in need. While our staff works hard to care for their basic needs, it is our volunteers who provide the extra love, socialization, and attention that truly prepares them for adoption.
We are currently looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team. Whether you want to get active walking dogs, spend time petting cats, or help behind the scenes, we have a spot for you.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Dog Companions: Socialize, train, and walk dogs.
- Cat Caretakers: Play with cats and help socialize shy felines.
- Adoption Ambassadors: Help greet the public and match pets with families.
- Event Helpers: Assist with off-site adoption and fundraising events.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older (or accompanied by an adult).
- Attend a one-time orientation session.
