ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Hostelling International NYC is looking for a volunteer to create and lead a pub tour of Irish bars in NYC! Our pub tours give travelers a chance to explore local Irish pubs, learn about their history, and connect with fellow guests in a fun and social setting.
As the pub tour volunteer, we ask that you ensure your tour provides opportunities for guests to learn and share history, culture, and perspectives.
This ensures that participants get an experience that is FUN, but also gives them an opportunity to gain a better understanding of our community and different perspectives!
Great role for people locals that love meeting new people, sharing history, and pub culture.
WHY VOLUNTEER WITH HI USA?

PURPOSE/DEFINITION and HI USA MISSION
HI USA is 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people places and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships is reinvested in mission delivery.

Training provided - Volunteers must commit to leading pub tours on a recurring basis, atleast twice a month.
